Butyl Sepharose High Performance
for high resolution HIC
Butyl Sepharose™ High Performance is a new member of the hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) media portfolio. Butyl Sepharose High Performance is for purification and polishing by HIC when high resolution is required. It is based on highly cross-linked, agarose with a mean particle diameter of 34 µm. This ensures high mechanical strength, allowing high flow rates, and high chemical stability. Butyl Sepharose High Performance offers:
- High resolution in combination with the selectivity of butyl ligand
- Hydrophilic and protein friendly base matrix ensuring maintained activity of proteins and peptides.
- High chemical stability which allows harsh cleaning-in-place (CIP) and sanitization procedures
Butyl Sepharose High Performance is available in HiTrap™ 1-ml and 5-ml columns, as lab-packs and in BioProcess™ quantities with support for production-scale chromatography.
