| Capto™ MMC is a salt tolerant, multimodal cation exchanger. It belongs to the Capto family of BioProcess™ media and is designed for fast, efficient and cost-effective protein purification at large-scale. The salt tolerant ligand allows direct application of undiluted, clarified feed which means a smaller total process volume can be handled on smaller units. To reduce tedious sample preparation, the HiTrap top filter in HiTrap Capto MMC has been optimized for loading sonicated lysate directly on the column without causing backpressure problems or medium leakage.
