Sendai virus
Purifying the Sendai Virus on One Step Using Ion-Exchange Chromatography
The Sendai virus induces production of cytokines (such as the therapeutic interferon) in mammalian cells. For industrial-scale production of cytokines, purified virus is essential, the anion-exchange method is found to be suitable for this purpose. This reproducible one-step method on SOURCE™ 15 Q produces pure virus that retains the infectivity, interferon- induction capability, and hemagglutination properties necessary for action. | |
