GE Healthcare Customized Chromatography Systems, called BioProcess systems, employ proven design solutions that ensure speedy, reliable and convenient process-scale purification of small molecules, peptides or proteins.
BioProcess systems simplify chromatographic procedures and offer:
- Compact, modular and mobile design.
- Reliable 24 hour-a-day unattended operation, which contributes to cost-effective processing from feed introduction to final fractionation.
- Control (UNICORN™) software that meets GMP requirements, including electronic signatures and records.
- Precise control of gradient formation .
- Sanitary, stainless steel or polypropylene piping systems for biomolecule separations.
- Multi-product processing prepared for automated Cleaning In Place (CIP).
All process monitor signals, including pressure, pH, UV, Near Infrared Spectrum (NIR), conductivity and flow rate, are monitored throughout the run and automatically compiled in a batch report to provide full documentation.
A comprehensive documentation package is shipped with each system to facilitate faster validation. The documentation includes specifications, piping and instrumentation diagram, complete input/output list, equipment list, calibration certificates and material certificates. In addition, installation qualification/operation qualification (IQ/OQ) documentation packages and services are available for faster operation start-up. Systems can be manufactured according to ATEX or Class 1, Div. I or II directives.
